Terms and conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Matchball ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree with any part, you must not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• Matchball: the platform operated by Matchball and its affiliates, including the web dashboard, mobile app and related services.
• User: any natural or legal person that creates an account to manage clubs, leagues, tournaments or players.
• Player: a person registered by a User to participate in an event.
• Content: information, data, text, images and other material uploaded to the Service.

3. Accounts and registration

To use Matchball you must create an account with accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Permitted use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for illegal activities or to violate third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code.
• Upload viruses, malware or any code designed to damage the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some Matchball plans require a paid subscription. Prices and features are described on the Plans page. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled before. Refunds are handled case-by-case according to the current policy.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the information you upload to Matchball. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process that information solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for obtaining the necessary consents from players whose information you upload.

7. Intellectual property

Matchball, its software, brands, designs and original content are owned by Matchball and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights over that intellectual property beyond use of the Service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of these Terms, fraud, misuse or legal requirement. You can cancel your account at any time from settings. After termination, we keep your information for 60 days to allow recovery, unless the law requires a different term.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be free of errors, interruptions or that it will meet specific expectations. To the extent permitted by law, Matchball will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. We will notify material changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction.
